This is a noble conversation and
project. Thank
you for your concerns and efforts toward this much needed dialogue. I
agree it's essential we understand we all are interconnected with the
human race, the earth and all of its inhabitants. My politics now has
transformed into, "We are the ones we've been waiting for." It takes
courage everyday to be aware of what is happening here in America and
the world. How do we not turn away from the suffering we encounter
personally and we witness others going through? How do we maintain
awareness as we confront our own addiction of distraction? I believe as
we heal ourselves, we heal the earth. Transforming our wounds opens us
naturally to be more in the present, to be able to choose to see what
is reality. We can then choose to respond from a mature emotionality to
our dire global situation.

We need to know where we are to chart a course to where we think we need to be. A plan for the change and the understanding that complexity is only the appearance of many simple components from a dynamic observation point in time and space. So I say we must blend what we know with what we can change and adapt to that which can not change.

What I have just read is not about saving your seeds.Our planet is fragile now. we should help! stop sucking the resources from her. She will buck and she is.We humans are so greedy $$ must dim our being.

Thank you for participating in our conversation. Bringing people passionate about protecting our natural resources together to discuss these issues is one of our primary goals. Paramount to this discussion is one regarding the evolution of our societies and concepts of value. Until we modify our behaviors as to how we relate to one another and our world as a whole, meaningful change will be difficult to achieve.
The writings "The Art of Survival" is far from complete, and will probably not be finished for at least another year. But we do intend to discuss these topics along with discussions on recycling, energy, and education among others. However no single person or group of people hold all the answers to our dilemma. The conversation is one that needs to reach far and wide. The world needs people like you to keep the conversation alive and pertinent. And people like our friends in Uganda who have found meaningful ways to help others and bring about positive changes today.
And the conversation is not one that waits for the completion of our ideas and concepts. We hope to contribute meaningful ideas, but engaging as many others in the conversation as possible provides the greatest wealth of knowledge available to us. And as long the conversation remains alive, the road to changing the world for the better remains open.
